Exploring India’s Heritage
Traveling by train is one of the most immersive ways to experience India’s rich culture, vibrant landscapes, and bustling cities. Our 10-day trip via train took us on an unforgettable journey through three iconic destinations — Delhi, and Agra.
Our journey began with a comfortable train ride to the bustling capital city, Delhi. Over three days, we explored iconic landmarks such as the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, India Gate, and the serene Lotus Temple. Walking through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, we savored street food and shopped for souvenirs, soaking in the city's vibrant energy.
Next, we went to Agra, home of the world-famous Taj Mahal. Witnessing this architectural marvel at sunrise was a breathtaking experience. We also visited the historic Agra Fort and Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, marveling at the rich Mughal history and artistry.
Traveling by train between these cities was a unique experience. Sharing compartments with locals, enjoying traditional snacks, and watching the landscapes change from urban sprawls to rural fields added a special charm to our trip.
This 10-day train journey was more than just sightseeing—it was an immersive experience that connected us with India’s past and present. From majestic monuments to the warmth of everyday people, every moment enriched our understanding of this incredible country.
