A Day with Nature: Exploring Dams, Waterfalls & Gentle Giants

As part of our B.Ed course, we went on a field trip to Thirparappu Waterfalls, Kottur Elephant Rehabilitation Centre, and Neyyar Dam. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.

Thirparappu Waterfalls

Our first stop was Thirparappu Waterfalls. The waterfall was very beautiful. We enjoyed the cool breeze and took many photos. It was a good break from our daily routine.

Kottur Elephant Rehabilitation Centre

Next, we visited the Kottur Elephant Rehabilitation Centre. We saw many elephants, both big and small. We watched them eat and bathe. We learned how the centre takes care of elephants. It was very interesting.

Neyyar Dam

Finally, we went to Neyyar Dam. The view of the dam and the water was very peaceful. We walked around the area and spent some time enjoying nature. We also learned about how the dam helps supply water for farming and drinking.

This trip helped us relax and learn new things outside the classroom. We had a great time with our friends and teachers. It was a memorable day for all of us.
